As a Senior SCRUM Master, you’ll interact with teams across the globe to help guide them on their Agile journey.

Inside the Job

Your day-to-day work will involve:

  • Acting as a SCRUM Master for up to three product teams of varying maturity

  • Participating as an Agile coach to evaluate and guide teams beginning their Agile journey

  • Working with the organization to champion Agile methodologies

  • Collaborating with other SCRUM Masters to establish best agile practices for the Herman Miller Group

  • Acting as the center for project rhythm and facilitating the ceremonies of Scrum

What You Bring

Needed skills and experience for this role include:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field

  • 3 years of experience

  • Certified SCRUM Master

  • Experience working as a SCRUM master for multiple Product Teams simultaneously

  • Experience coaching organizations on the principles of Agile

  • Experience with various software development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)

  • Experience with CI/CD, QA and UAT strategies

  • Experience with user story writing, burndown techniques, and retrospective facilitation

  • Experience working with remote/offshore teams in an agile environment

  • Familiarity with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and various development engineering practices

  • Familiarity with agile enablement tools such as Jira

  • Understanding of the fundamentals of iterative development
