Project Support Supervisor


  • Plan, coordinate, lead and execute pre-commissioning, planning, and startup activities.

  • Lead Core Team from OQ2 through startup.

  • Support Project Manager and Core Team through OQ2

  • Develop start up plan and communicate

  • Ensure smooth transition from construction phase to startup phase

  • Ensure Master activity schedule is maintained current and communicated appropriately.

  • Manage Startup sub teams to ensure design input, construction readiness, operational readiness and turnover package.

  • Contributes to resolution of product processing problems using structured problem resolution and communicating recommendations for next steps, as appropriate.

  • Demonstrates ability to manage time, space and material resources to allow for efficient and timely delivery of project or departmental objectives.

  • Disassembly of processing equipment and cleaning and sanitizing of equipment;

  • Communicates technical information both written and verbally

  • Strong computer skills utilizing common software tools, such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Project.

  • Willingness and ability to learn cGMPs and sanitation related to manufacturing infant formula.

  • Willingness and ability to be trained in MJN Environmental Health and Safety SOPs;

  • Willingness to embrace a team work attitude and exercising strong work ethics.


  1. Minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment with some leadership experience a must and/or four year degree, preferably in a business or technical field.

  2. Experience working within an FDA regulated environment preferred. Basic computer skills required (i.e. Windows, SAP, WINS).

  3. Excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  4. Ability to work well in a fast paced, multi-task environment under pressure and tight time constraints where a high degree of teamwork, flexibility, and collaboration are required.

  5. Flexibility to work occasional nights/weekends to accommodate project needs.

  6. Flexibility for occasional travel to manufacturing locations to assist with plant trials and factory acceptance testing (FAT).

  7. Some mechanical skills desired.

  8. Ability to lift 25kg bags of materials.

  9. Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, work environment
