Herman Miller’s Summer Internship Program is a paid, 12-week opportunity that provides a 100% real-world experience for students early in their career. Throughout the summer you will apply academic learning to real-world situations and cultivate leadership, problem solving, and communication skills.

As an IT Information Security Analyst Intern, you will help integrate new Herman Miller technologies and find solutions to different compliance issues.

  • Perform hands-on work in an information security environment supporting Herman Miller locations world-wide.

  • Assist the Information Security Team with day-to-day tasks.

  • Analyze, evaluate, and help implement new tools.

  • Help find solutions to compliance issues.

  • Work with basic security tools, systems, and technical applications.

  • Work with a cross-functional team to complete an intern project.

  • Attain on-the-job work experience aligned with your career objectives.

  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

You might be just who we're looking for if you are...

  • Interested in IT information security and compliance.

  • Experienced with Command Line, Microsoft Office, and Windows/Linux.

  • Able to work independently and think of multiple ways to solve issues.

  • A strong communicator.

  • Enrolled and pursuing a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Cyber Security, or a related field from an accredited college or university, and able to provide college transcripts upon request. You must have a GPA of at least a 3.0 (cumulative or within your major) to qualify for consideration in the Intern Program.

  • Satisfactorily finished with the basic coursework in your chosen degree program.

  • In favorable academic standing within your current academic program or major.

  • Authorized to work in the United States.

  • Able to perform all essential job functions of the position with or without accommodations.
