Vehicle Electrical Engineer
What if you could use your engineering skills to transform the US Army Ground Domain? As an electrical engineer, you understand the power behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to serving as Electronics Engineer for fielded Army ground system components & circuit card assembly (CCA) electronics in sustainment engaged in obsolescence redesign, research and development testing, and production and acceptance testing.
Our team provides technical guidance, resolves critical issues and acts in an advisory capacity across all US Army ground platforms when specialized information is required. That’s why we need you, an electrical engineer, to perform electronic components selection based upon considerations of platform’s performance requirements specifications and functions, availability, and potential obsolescence avoidance/mitigation, counterfeit component avoidance, and management. This will impact the design and layout CCAs, including digital and analog circuit design. You’ll designs instrumentation applications per test requirements and oversees the technical execution of vehicle, and sensor systems, sub-systems, and components testing in realistic environmental conditions utilizing a networked architecture of various instrumentation systems. Analyzes data, draws conclusions and makes recommendations which directly affect production, quality, and reliability of items through engineering changes, test procedure revisions, inspection technique revisions, or modification of manufacturing techniques. Initiates and conducts failure analysis in areas of advanced instrumentation and prepares detailed reports or briefings of findings. Compile all relevant test and investigative data documents for specific projects in the form of complete reports that include resolution to unusual problems. We’ll look to you to share your electrical engineering expertise through leadership and mentoring junior staff.
