Project Duration:Consulting Position, 2 months (possible extentsion)

Project Location:Remote

Job Title:Tableau Administrator

Description:

Installation, configuration and administration of the Tableau server and client applications. This position involves the design and development of the BI/Tableau data infrastructure, data source creation, security (user access), change control of Tableau objects and overall Tableau support. Development experience in the Tableau environment is required.

Qualification

•Minimum 3 years of Tableau Server administration

•Experience with Citrix and Citrix virtual desktop environment

•Development experience in the Tableau environment

•Proficient in Tableau command line utility

•Good understanding of database concepts including writing SQL statements

•Strong troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

••Guide, Optimize and support installation of Tableau server

•Help set up development, testing, and production environments

•Develop and implement a change control and promotion process

•Evaluate and make recommendations to the security schema

•Implement Data source validation and certification processes

•General assistance with dashboarding best practices and enterprise sustainability/reliability

•Evaluate and make recommendations on Tableau data governance Model suitable for the client

Qualification:

Candidate is required to have experience as a Tableau Administrator with at least 3 years of experience.

Healthcare experience preferred but not required.

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), problem-solving abilities, and Strength in understanding and analyzing requirements to deliver solutions within the Tableau platform

Additional secondary skills preferred:

  • MS SQL Server knowledge including SSIS Packaging and SQL

  • Data Downloads and Reporting

Business Intelligence / Analytics:

  • Tableau version 2020.2
