This is an opportunity to join the fast-paced world of engineering next generation combat vehicles for the U.S. Army.Acirc; Working as a DCS employee co-located in Warren, Michigan, you will work alongside the U.S. Army Ground Vehicle System Center customer and be rewarded with a technically challenging and diverse career in the areas of powertrain electrification and mobility for the next generation of ground vehicles.Acirc;Essential Job Functions: Developing 3-phase motor control algorithms for large drives/invertersDeveloping embedded codeHelping shape hardware design and software architecture for emerging and existing prototypesPerforming in-depth system architecture and code reviewsDocumenting all aspects of code development and creating code flowchartsWorking "hands-on-hardware" with integrated software and hardware development team in the lab and remotely accessing equipmentPerforming in-depth problem solving and code debugging and testingRequired Skills: Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.Ability to obtain security clearance.BS in Computer Science, or BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or universityFive years of experience in automotive, military, avionics, or commercial industriesExperience with TI Code Composer Studio or Eclipse isExperience with C2000 Series Digital Signal ProcessorsExperience with C programming.Experience with revision control systemsExperience with CAN J1939 Interfacing and messagingKnowledge writing drivers for devices that interface with Serial UART, Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI), Inter-Integrated Circuit (I2C) and CAN BusDesired Skills: 3-phase motor drive, converter system, power converter algorithm implementationExperience developing 3-phase motor drive control using field oriented control, vector drive and or latest state of the art control algorithms.500 kW or higher wattage experience, 600 VDC or higherExperience or familiar with Silicon Carbide transistorsExperience with Graphical User Interface Development (python, web development, C, Microsoft visual studio)Familiarity with interfacing to Texas Instruments, Analog Devices, and STMicroelectronics componentryHigh voltage safety training or knowledgeDesign for military ground vehicle or automotive experienceacirc;euro;cent;DCS Corp is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity/Male/Female/Veterans/Pay Transparency Employer.
