And we are proud to support our employees volunteer interests, and make it a priority to join together in efforts that give back to our communities.Job DescriptionThis is a non-supervisory position, responsible for leading the overall Inbound Logistics and Container deliverables for Strategic Programs and projects. These projects often fall outside of our normal processes and procedures "Go Fast", and hence has crafted the need for a new program manager role. Programs include supporting new business ventures such as Battery Cell Production and GM Defense.You will coordinate activities such as Program Timing, Launch Efficiency, Inbound Logistics and Containers Program Cost, communication, and risk analysis.This position will ultimately drive the successful launch of "Go Fast" programs with an optimized logistics network. Program Leadership activities include but are not limited to:* Alignment with manufacturing and supply chain to understand scheduling and inventory requirements* Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors* Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks* Single point of ownership for all inbound logistics assumption with Program Team and various functional areas including manufacturing, PPM, VSSM, Vehicle Architecture, and others* Lead weekly alignment meeting with all cross functional areas within inbound logistics* Manage program and project teams for optimal return-on-investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives* Build and balance Logistics strategies across programs through alignment with program managers to identify risk and opportunities* Evaluate Operational Risk on program changes based on lead time to change* Make close to accurate business decision with risk indicators and planning/Commercial assumptions.* Strong support for sourcing activities of related program commodities with SCE team* Support for various container in-transit studies and ad-hoc analysis* Develop reviews for the key milestones and ensure the team is on track to deliver* Develop and produce program status reports for senior leadership and key stakeholders* Lead communication, coordination and consultation with internal and external stakeholders on both logistics and container milestones* Develop and manage budget, reporting out to necessary business owners* Accountable for delivering program against established business goals and objectives* Communication and pro-active management of inbound logistics network opportunities with the Program Team and Logistics StakeholdersAdditional Job DescriptionSkills and Qualifications* Ability to communicate, utilizing data to drive actions and results* Comfortable working with multidisciplinary and cross-cultural teamsbr
