Ascension is seeking a Lead Financial Analyst to join our team in Warren, MI @ our Corporate Service Building.

What You Will Do
As an Associate with Ascension, you will have the opportunity to serve as a resource for other analysts, and perform analysis and reporting regarding financial operations and information.
Performs statistical, cost and financial analysis of data extracted from various internal sources.
Assists with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
Works with Department Managers to explain variances to the expense budget and in payroll productivity expectations.
Collaborates with Accounting during the month end closing process in order to product accurate finanical statements.
Serves as consultant to management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures.
Loads final budget spreads into applicable systems and performs required reconciliations.
What You Will Need
High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required
Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting highly preferred
1 year of experience required.
4 years of experience preferred.
Proficient in excel skills, google sheets, etc. preferred
2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
