To learn more, please visit Overview:•Coordinates all information technology related activities at the BWI- Warren facility.Core Responsibilities:•Responsible for managing all plant Information Technology projects.•Administration of local area network including the local mail server. This includes the installation of all localized software and hardware upgrades.•Security administration for the LAN and business applications as applicable.•Coordination of Information Technology vendors for delivery and maintenance of equipment and software.•The local administration of MIG Information Technology standards, policies, procedures and guidelines.•Shares the responsibility for maintaining the inventory records of I.T. hardware and includes insuring compliance with software licensing requirements.•Ensures I.T. Systems backups are taken on a scheduled basis. Additional Responsibilities:•Ensures that backup systems procedures are documented and in place to insure continuation of the business during an outage of the mainline support systems.•Provides the first line of defense for the facility in the event of an outage in the mainline systems.•Responsible for participating and managing Business Unit directed projects as requested.•Provides the I.T. interface at the plant level for all I.T. related activities within the facility.•Provides day to day support for local I.T. systems at the site.•Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, and procedure manuals.•Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Individuals located outside the U.S. or Canada need to be fluent in both written and verbal skills for English as well as the native language.•Willingness to be on call 24 hours/7 days a week via a paging device. Must be willing to travel occasionally, including out of the country.#CBQualificationsBasic Qualifications:•A minimum of a four-year degree, preferably with an emphasis on I.T.•A minimum of five (5) years prior IT related experience.•A minimum of two (2) years in LAN administration and working within a UNIX environment.•A minimum of two (2) years' experience with the installation and use of Microsoft Operating systems and their suite of application desired.•Strong written and oral communication skills.•Ability to work effectively and constructively with people to obtain support to meet applicable quality, delivery, and cost constraints.•Ability to manage, prioritize, and direct multiple tasks to achieve compressed time constraints.•Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers, management, peers, and subordinates both orally and in prose.•Ability to develop visions and implement ideas to achieve continuous improvements and cost reductions throughout plant.•Ability to adapt and adjust to changing environmental requirements.Preferred Qualifications:•Accreditation as a Novell CNA / CNE (Certified Network
