Customer Support Representative

Job Description

The Advisor I, Customer Service position interfaces with customers via inbound calls, outbound calls, or through the Internet depending upon client requirements. This position provides customer service support and resolution of routine problems regarding client's product or services.

Responsibilities:

  • Become a “Single Source” contact for assigned fleet accounts

  • Support fleets with entering/correcting/changing/moving and expediting orders

  • Research and answer vehicle content questions

  • Research and resolve invoice, credit/rebill and incentive issues

  • Monitor and respond to vehicle scheduling and logistics issues

  • Respond to fleet within 24 hours of question being received

  • Other activities necessary to support assigned fleet’s needs

  • Contact appropriate GM department to resolve order problem and keep Fleet updated on resolution progress

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated customer service skills

  • Demonstrated ability to solve difficult issues to mutual benefit of customer and company

  • Demonstrated ability to use a computer, including proficient in using Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Organizational and written/oral communication skills a priority

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and be flexible

  • Demonstrated ability to read, interpret and communicate program guidelines and administrative messages

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Minimum 3-5 year’s experience working with Fleet/Commercial operators.

  • Experience working with large volume vehicle purchasing customers

  • Knowledge of GM products and services

  • Must be familiar with dealers and fleet/commercial customers, their needs and the general business environment they operate within

  • Familiarity with GM vehicle ordering, vehicle reporting, dealer accounting, logistics and distribution systems and processes
