The Enterprise Application Engineering Specialist role will be a member of the CRM & Sale Enablement Practice pods in GE Digital Hubs (Bangalore and Detroit) and based out of the Digital Hub Detroit. The individual will be responsible for configurations on SFDC platform, and will closely work with architects, designers and other team members to deliver the business functionalities in Salesforce Sales and Service Clouds. This role will span across industry domains.
In this role, you will:
Responsible for configuring SFDC platform and closely work with the architect/designer and rest of CRM & Sales Enablement Practice teams/pods.
Collaborate regularly with product & program manager/delivery leader and other track leads on design & build related activities.
Collaborate with development resources and finish the assigned tasks throughout the build and test cycle.
Must be self-motivated, independent, and able to work well with different teams with minimal supervision.
Understand the business strategic platforms and leverage right set of platforms and processes to deliver the most optimal solution.
Define and maintain technical knowledge regarding solutions and platform.
Bring build related best practices on the SFDC and platforms.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or comparable/related field
Either Salesforce Admin certified or ability to complete certification within 3 months of starting

Must be willing to travel up to 10%
Must be willing to work out of an office located in Van Buren Township, Michigan
Technical Expertise: (include technical skills)
A technical engineer, with extensive experience in solving challenging issues in high pressure environment
Experience in the technology space with emphasis on SaaS enterprise application engineering
Experience in any Object Oriented Programing language i.e. Java
Good understating of Model View Controller (MVC) model
Understanding of cloud platform architecture
Working experience with configuring and developing applications, continuous integration, and deployment tools
Ability to perform in extremely dynamic environment with Agile development approach
Keen interest to learn current and emerging technologies and build expertise
Experience in CRM platforms, and hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration and development is a plus
Proactively engages with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and design solutions using critical thinking and analytical skills and best practices
Ability to interact at all levels of the organization and with other GE businesses
Experience in the industrial vertical
