Senior Workday Analyst

The Workday HRIS Analyst leverages both broad functional knowledge and a high level of technical aptitude to consult, recommend, develop, implement and improve Workday’s functionality and performance. This individual must have proven experience in working closely with end-users, designing and configuring solutions that support business goals, solid analytical skills and the ability to effectively communicate with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
Serve as the HRIS partner supporting HCM areas in Workday, including Core HCM, Payroll, Recruiting, Advanced Compensation, Performance and Development, Succession, Absence Management and Time Tracking
Serve as a strong consultative partner to HR and Payroll teams, advising the business on which tools/configurations fit their needs, and consult on the best process that compliments your solutions. You should clearly understand the downstream impacts of potential solutions and advise the business accordingly
Design and maintain system configuration, including supervisory organization, custom organization, locations, pay groups, etc.
Maintain master data values in Workday (i.e. Job Profile Job Family, Locations, Positions, etc.)
Gather requirements, design, implement, test and configure new Workday functionality to support business objectives and provide day-to-day ongoing support for the production environment
Provide second-level support of Workday to end users including assistance, training, and issue resolution
Utilize EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder) to make mass updates in Workday for compensation updates, job changes, etc
Actively research for new enhancements and releases in Workday
Manages execution of multiple HRIS requests simultaneously for new reports and data validation
The q ualific ations.
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Information Systems or related field required
3-5 year's experience in HRIS required
2 or more years’ experience in system administration/support of Workday including implementation, maintenance, upgrades, testing, front and back-end processing, and reporting required
Understanding of HR operations and experience in employee data management.
Ability to accurately collect information in order to understand and assess the end user needs and situation
Ability to utilize common business software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
