Join the technology company that's transforming the future of mobility today.About this PositionWe are currently looking for a Systems Software Project Manager to plan and coordinate systems and software development activities of collocated or international/distributed engineering teams to ensure systems and software deliverables are completed on time per project schedule and meet quality standards. This position is located in our Troy, MI office.Responsibilities and Duties•Manage international/distributed engineering teams•Support new project pursuits - provide estimation and quotes, participate in customer reviews•Resource planning and tracking - Identification of competencies, skills, and gaps•Project Environment setup•High level planning, tracking and reporting of Systems, SW, ITV deliverables•Coordinate/lead project release planning, Feature/Function planning and tracking - Iteration planning•Measure and monitor project level metrics - Critical Resources, Process Quality, Schedule•Error estimation and tracking (burn downs, mountain charts)•Plan and track dependencies between Systems, SW and ITV competencies•Primary point of contact to stakeholders (including Customer and Project Management) for all items related to systems software project management.•Risk management for Systems, SW and ITV competencies•Oversee Change Management•Negotiate and plan timing and content of deliveries with customer, subcontractors, suppliers, and project team•Drive process adherence and compliance with Quality Assurance standards•Identify opportunities for quality and productivity improvement and implement appropriate initiatives•Responsible for developing SDP, SEMP, PVP, PCMP plans and EOS reporting•Organize and track Equipment, tools, and team infrastructure needs•Represent SW in PDP reviews/ Status Reporting to project and line management•SW Supplier management activities - supplier selection, monitor and control of engagement.(non-SOW)•Travel up to 20% (International Domestic)Position RequirementsNeed to Haves (Basic Requirements)•Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering•5+ years of experience in Embedded Software development•5+ years of experience in Software Project Management experience•3+ years of experience managing Global Distributed TeamsNice to Haves (Preferred Requirements)•Working knowledge of SW Quality processes (e.g. SPICE, CMMI)•Knowledge of Functional Safety standards•Experience with Agile development•Thorough knowledge of Project Management methods and tools•Strong Communication, Coordination and Problem solving skills•Proven history of successful customer communication•Solid understanding of business requirements•Exceptional problem solving negotiating skillsTraits we seek•Curiously investigate everything - ability to solve problems analytical
