Ciber Global, LLC has an opening for a Sr. QA Tester em(Ref# SQAT29RK)/em to work in Troy, MI and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Job Duties: Responsible for quality assurance (QA) analysis and testing of critical business applications. Provide QA automation testing technical support and strategic direction to the testing organization (TO). Formulate and develop effective test architecture per organizational needs. Proactively analyze current test processes and practices and suggest/drive improvements. Define QA/test processes as needed. Responsible for testing of applications using Agile Scrum methodology. Implement the extensive continuous effort of test scripting and automating jobs for performance and reliability. Provide wide-reaching scope, impact, and influence extending beyond the confines of the TO and spans across the entire product organization. Involved in driving organization-wide quality process initiatives and their implementation to ensure quality of deliverables. Maintain a complete picture view of the product, its dependencies, organizational goals, technology arena, etc. and help guide the functioning of the TO appropriately. Influence the product organization's future direction, strategy, and planning. Receive and analyze feedback to identify gaps as well as work with deployment/sustaining organizations as needed. Responsible for design and development of the TO's test automation framework and any in-house tools required. Where tools do not fully meet requirements of the TO, write code and develop components that can extend available tools or design and develop new tools as needed. Responsible for the overall quality of deliverables across all parameters. Review requirements and seek clarity as required, incorporates testability requirements against plan or design. Influence technical direction and use of technologies after making necessary evaluations. Setup test management/automation testing tools. Come up with quality / testing best practices and principles. Facilitate test case development and execution and the defect management process. Manage the testing progress and reports status to stakeholders. Manage risks and issues related to integration testing. Involved in updating and execution of test cases according to the requirements. Involved in unit testing the code and provide feedback to the developers. Execute test suite automation scripts using Jenkins. Perform automation testing on Web Services using Postman and Tosca. Raise defects and perform tracking using Azure DevOps and report to developers and test manager. Use of Selenium, Unified Functional Testing - UFT (formerly QuickTest Professional - QTP), Java, Postman, Tosca, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Maven, Rally, JIRA, SQL Server, Oracle, and Windows. Travel and/or relocation required.Requirements: This position requires a Masterrsquo;s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, CIS, MIS, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Technical Architect, Systems Analyst, or related experience. Will accept a Bachelorrsquo;s degree (including 3-year foreign Bachelor degrees) in any field of study plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience. Position requires 1 year of experience with automation, Selenium, UFT, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and JIRA. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.
