Software Engineering Group Manager. Troy, MI. Drive engineering deliverables to achieve SW project timing plans. Manage SW product development execution (design, resource, risk) and delivery. Support supplier sourcing activities to drive requirement adherence for operations. Build and Manage capable and skilled engineering resources for proper execution of project. Ensure team is organized, motivated and utilizing appropriate toolset. Build a training plan to assure continuous increase in team skillset. Identify SW engineering quality/efficiency improvement opportunities and drive improvements to engineering standards. Utilize industry standard tools to ensure and drive team productivity with focus on time, scope, cost and quality. Develop Tools strategies and roadmap that drive efficiency and quality in product development. Drive the problem resolution by utilizing Structured problem solving techniques. Plan and manage the team budget. Provide the vision of the team development. Cooperate and coordinate with the local colleagues as well as with other global development centers. Requires Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and 3 years of experience with embedded software Architecture design, Agile development and testing, and use of JIRA, GIT, Gerrit, POLARION, CM Synergy, Change Synergy, CONFLUENCE, Enterprise Architect, Linux, QNX, ASPICE, Fault Tree Analysis, 8D, and 5Why.
