Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 5 years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.

In your role as PM, you will run programs and contribute to efforts that will take the engineering culture at OCI to the next level. We need your contribution as we build world class engineering centers around the world. You’ll be joining near the ground floor of this new Engineering Community venture that offers a great amount of autonomy with a variety in the work to be done. This role offers huge upside potential of high visibility and fast career development. This is a unique situation to partner with smart technical people who are solving difficult problems while operating at massive scale.
We are looking for a Program Manager to drive a variety of business critical projects. You’ll have a front seat as we build the business. In this role you will:
Coordinate with Engineering Community TPM team in Seattle Washington to share best practices
Coordinate stakeholders across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Engineering, Product Management, and Business Operations teams to drive Engineering Community activities like design reviews, brown bags, developer conferences, patent programs, etc.
Contribute to executive initiatives on emerging business challenges
Drive initiatives to improve development and business operations processes
Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in response to changing or ambiguous situations, directing changes through appropriate review and approval mechanisms.
3-5 years managing large scale programs and projects spanning multiple technical teams and organizations
Experience taking a program from concept through Launch
Ability to learn new concepts quickly
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
Position requires strong organization and attention to detail
Leadership skills – strong judgement, ability to work with technical and non-technical people at all levels
Collaboration skills – empathy for our partners, willingness to share information, and ownership without ego
Organization skills – manage multiple facets of a large-scale project and track progress for multiple programs at once, event planning
Communication skills –deliver regular program reports, and both written and verbal communication to effectively communicate with leaders and stakeholders
Problem-solving skills – use problem-solving skills to isolate and solve problems with programs to keep progress on track
Presentation skills - at ease presenting to technical engineering leaders, as well as to the general technical organization
