Project Control Analyst

Key Role:

Perform a wide variety of detailed financial and administrative activities for relatively large and complex programs, organizations, or proposals. Anticipate and respond to customer needs and serve as a primary point of contact for customers for business operations. Analyze project and program budgets, forecast revenue, perform project-level financial management reporting and analysis, and recommend appropriate actions based on analysis results. Initiate subcontract and intercompany purchase requests, monitor vendor expenses, and review or approve subcontract invoices. Prepare detailed financial program management reviews, and provide the status of key performance metrics. Complete estimates at completion, including estimated business performance metrics at the end of period of performance, including profit, cash flow, and risk. Prepare and manage contract deliverables and respond to contract and program data calls.

Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience with working in a business or financial management environment

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel

-Ability to think analytically and conduct trend analysis

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-AA or AS degree in Business or 8+ years of experience in a project controller role

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in working with federal government contracts

-Experience with Microsoft Excel, including using formulas and functions in calculations and analysis

-Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FARs), the federal budget process, and funds management

-Ability to accomplish financial forecasts based on bottom-up analysis and historical trends

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree in Business or Economics

-Project Management Professional, Certified Defense Financial Manager, or Certified Government Financial Manager Certification
