  • The Program Management Co-op is responsible to assist the Program Manager in ensuring flawless Launch execution for all risk level Programs / Projects.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supports Engineering Change Management process alongside Engineering Change Coordinator.

  • Assists in the maintaining of Program / Project open issues (PDCA, Action Register etc.) deck.

  • Coordinates internal and external build (Vehicle, System etc.) activities throughout the Program Development Cycle.

  • Participates in Cross Functional team meetings to help ensure Program / Project is on time and all Customer requirements and internal issues are being addressed in an efficient manner.

  • Assists in the adherence to Program Management Process (APQP) / PPAP deliverables.

  • Supports the tracking of critical Launch Performance Indicators (Kick-Off of System / Equipment / Tool, Functional Check Out, Run@Rate, PPAP, etc.).

Education Required

  • Pursuing BS/BA in Engineering or Business.

Experience Required

  • 0-2 years of Automotive Industry experience.

Desired Skills

  • Proficient in MS Office.

  • Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) familiarity.

  • Business / Finance and Engineering acumen.

  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.

  • Conflict resolution and active listening skills required.

  • Program Management career aspirations.

  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
