Oracle Oracle Field Service Cloud Learning Specialist (SME) in Troy, Michigan
Customizes and delivers education services to external customers.
The Principal Consultant/Instructor is responsible for the success of their assigned Oracle learning management/training event and committed to superior customer service. They are expected to develop plans for continuous personal and professional growth. The Principal Consultant/Instructor is expected to master new services, technology and internal processes shortly after their implementation. Manage aspects of the customer event (i.e. instruction, application implementation, environment, setup etc.) to ensure success. Produce quality deliverables on a project (i.e. assessments, communication, curriculum development, Tutor, eLearning). Ability to teach new technical material and/or implement new Oracle Applications modules with minimal preparation time. Review methods, processes, training materials and/or project implementation plans. Identify weak areas and suggest methods for improvement. Meet utilization targets. Travel as needed.
Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. BS or equivalent technical experience preferred. Has obtained one or more industry recognized certifications (OCP, CPA, CPIM). Has 3 plus years technical or professional experience using Oracle products, methods or related software. Has 3 plus years consulting experience or experience teaching adult learners.
This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.

Preferred Qualifications
The Curriculum Developer will be an integral part of the Oracle University team responsible for providing technical training to internal and external customers via various means. You must possess a unique blend of exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with preferred technical and business knowledge related to mobile workforce management.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a leading position on the team that drives the creation and delivery of educational content for the Oracle Field Service solution, assisting the field to be able to sell, deliver and support Oracle’s products. You will be responsible for producing training content, working closely with the Product Management team to gain and maintain an in-depth understanding of both current functionality and future roadmap items.
Responsibilities:
Author training content for publishing on Oracle University.
Develop scripts and content for internal and external consumption, supporting periodic product releases.
Develop multimedia visual aids and presentations to deliver product enablement.
Conduct product technical training sessions local and remotely.
Provide logistical support, course development, delivery, evaluation, process measurements, and cost management.
Manage all aspects of the development process, including periodic communication with content review team in order to ensure effective knowledge transfer and hand-off of new content.
Follow project plans and meet all deadlines.
Research and stay current with emerging technologies and trends in instructional design in order to be able to deliver the most up-to-date training solutions.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Background
Proven written, verbal and presentation communications skills
Aptitude and desire to quickly learn new SaaS technologies
Experience building technical training curriculum for both online and in-person usage
Experience using e-learning development/editing tools is a plus (ex. Captivate, Claro, Photoshop, Audacity, Screenflow, etc.)
Have an acute attention to detail
At least 2 years in-depth knowledge of Oracle Field Service or mobile workforce management technologies
Have a passion for education and teaching, unwilling to settle for anything less than the highest quality of content produced
Be a self-starter who consistently strives to improve upon the value and quality of current and assigned projects
Ability to act independently with personal leadership on owned projects; proactively interact and coordinate with other teams when assistance is needed
Excellent analytical, listening, presentation, and communication skills
Willing to travel periodically, working both onsite and remotely
