DescriptionRicardo Defense is seeking an experienced Field Service Representative (FSR) to support light tactical wheeled vehicle modifications and upgrade programs for the United States Army.brThe successful candidate will serve as a technical subject matter expert (SME), within our field service and support team. The Field Service Representative will support and manage component hardware installations, maintenance procedures, troubleshooting, software downloads and post install functional validation for newly upgraded vehicle modifications.brThis position will require consistent travel to multiple U.S. Army sites throughout CONUS locations.brEssential Duties and Responsibilities:ulliManage and perform light tactical vehicle installation, modification, repair, and upgrade actions/liliProvide on-site technical expertise as the customer facing representative for Ricardo Defense, while rapidly addressing and bringing to complete resolution all installation and component challenges that arise within the field/liliInterpret and work from technical manuals, work instructions, work orders, notes and troubleshooter findings/liliProvide technical guidance on operational or maintenance aspects of equipment, and recommendation to the customer for most cost-effective repair or resolution, minimizing downtime/liliServe as liaison between customer field operations and manufacturing, engineering, and quality for component issues and or other product concerns/liliPerform all aspects of product field support, servicing, repair, training, installation and installation validation/sign off for newly modified vehicles/liliTravel will be required approximately 70% of the time or more/li/ulbrRequirementsulliExperience in inspection, repair, and maintenance on tactical wheeled vehicles/liliExperience with performing modifications and maintenance tasks on wheeled combat vehicles in conjunction with 91 Bravo MOS is a plus/liliProficient using common and special tools, diagnostic equipment, and schematics/liliAbility to use power tools, lifting devices, carrying or support equipment, including slings and chains/liliCapable of working in all climates, and environments, heat, humidity, confined spaces/liliAbility to effectively communicate and interact with internal external customers/liliCertification from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) or equivalent organization is highly desirable/liliAA or AS degree plus eight years of relevant experience is preferred.
