Oracle Business Development Consultant 4-Corp Plan in Troy, Michigan

Engages in business development strategies and programs in support of Oracle's Sales Organization.

Oversees the development of strategic market/product line business plans and marketing programs to support sales in designated market segments. Engages in many areas of business development to include strategy, programs, demand generation, building pipeline, increasing deal size, and account planning. Analyzes market data to identify trends/opportunities and develops strategic direction from market information. Identifies volume and strategic customers. Primary interaction is with Oracle sales force; however, may interact with external customers as it relates to the development and facilitation of ongoing business and/or business relationship. Supports the business by interfacing with the sales organization and other internal groups (such as Product Development, Operations, GBUs, Marketing, etc.)

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8-12 years of Marketing/Business Development experience in the technology industry, preferably software industry. Experience should include relationship management. Conversant in Oracle technology and product strategies. Ability to determine strategy and tactical plans that deliver tangible results. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. BA/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.

This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.

We are seeking a Sales Enablement leader to guide the alignment and organization of global sales enablement teams. You will be a crucial member of the Oracle Advertising and Customer Experience (ACX) Chief of Staff team.

On our team, you'll be empowered to run and lead the sale enablement activities on a global scale for the sales organization. Responsibilities include driving key initiatives forward while working with cross-functional teams, handling internal systems, sales methodologies, programs and strategies, as well as, coaching, mentoring, and leading a group of sales enablement leads. This person will be seen as a trusted professional to the Sales Leaders and the Senior Leadership team.

This high visibility role will present to Senior Stakeholders across the organization. To succeed in this position, you’ll combine your strong business and sales acumen, attention to detail, affinity for sales enablement, and interpersonal skills to drive cross-functional alignment aimed at achieving ODC’s overall business objectives in an efficient and scalable manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support organization in all facets including but not limited to onboarding, gap analysis, skills training, documentation, sales trainings, systems training, sales methodology strategy, and various ad hoc sales enablement requests.

  • Identify standard methodologies across teams and use insights from other groups to drive efficiency

  • Provide direction and advice to Sales Leaders on key sales enablement programs and methods to increase Sales Rep efficiency and to increase customer retention rates.

  • Become a consultant to the Sales and Executive Leadership Teams.

What We are Looking For!

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Technology (MBA a plus)

  • 5 years Sales Operations and/or Sales Enablement leadership and experience in SaaS

  • Strong communication skills both written and presentations

  • Strong analytical skills in interpreting data to recommending actions

  • Expert in MS Excel and Microsoft Suite of tools

  • Oracle Sales Cloud management, Oracle tools & systems experience

  • Salesforece.com (SFDC) management, Ringlead, Reporting & Dashboards

  • Proven success running Sales Operations & Sales Enablement team for Sales team of 50 global sellers

  • Specialist in sales methodologies, sales execution fields to drive efficient at scale

  • Experienced with various LMS tools

  • Practical experience with active learning and micro learning approaches

  • Strong with learning modality methodologies

  • Experienced working with Oracle University, Eloqua, Instructional Design tools, Responsys and Adobe

  • Strong time leadership skills & attention to detail

  • Key metric reporting

  • Sales communication
