Job Summary

The Atlas Marketing team is looking for a high-energy individual to join the “A” Team as our Marketing Communications Specialist. Candidates must have a knack for writing and exceptional communication skills. This role will be responsible for development and execution of a content and communications strategy that expands our company’s digital footprint. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop sharable content that builds awareness and engagement with our brand.

Required Education / Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in marketing, communications or relevant field

Primary Responsibilities & Scope

  • Collaborate with all levels in the organization and customers to produce relevant and regular communications that meet the needs of our business units and their audience.

  • From concept to execution create a variety of marketing content including; blogs, case studies, white papers, emails, webinars, press releases and other PR copy.

  • Maintain a consistent brand voice across published content and paid digital advertising that generates qualified traffic and leads for our business.

  • Manage the company’s social media presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram.

  • Manage media relations and requests, proactively seeking out media opportunities to build awareness around our various networks.

  • Primary resource for photography and other creative initiatives both on and off site that can be utilized for our content development.

  • Plan and supervise events, conferences and speaking opportunities.

  • Other related marketing duties as assigned.

Required Experience

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of our business' various audiences.

  • Effective communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in using social media software to monitor conversations and implement paid advertising campaigns with strong ROI.

  • Ability to work independently, managing projects with many moving parts.

  • Must be a self-starter with strong attention to detail, follow through and organizational skills.

  • The ability to consistently meet tight deadlines.

  • Affinity for emerging digital marketing practices.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Interviewing skills, journalism and a public relations background are highly recommended

  • Photography, video, video editing and basic graphic design skills are desirable.
