Job Title: Level 2 Help Desk Technician General Summary:The Level 2 Help Desk Technician is responsible for handling service requests at the Help Desk. This relates to all Technology,including,workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor specific applications. The successful candidate will possess exceptional technical and interpersonal skills, be highly organized and motivated, have a positive attitude and enjoy being part of a dynamic team. Benefits:Medical, Dental, Life, 401k Essential Duties and Responsibilities: liWork with help desk dispatcher to respond tosupport requests in our ticketing system/li liProvide IT Support relating to Microsoftrsquo;s core business applications and operating systems (servers and desktops)/li liProvide overflow phone coverage/li liParticipate in an on-call rotation/li /ul Additional Duties and Responsibilities: liImprove customer service, perception, and satisfaction/li liFast turnaround of customer requests/li liEscalate service requests that require higher level support/li liEnter all work as service tickets into our ticketing system (ConnectWise)/li /ul Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. liMust have an intermediate understanding of common Windows server roles including, but not limited to, Active Directory, File and Print services, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and Remote Desktop Services and must be able to identify and resolve issues of the same./li liAdvanced understanding of operating systems, business applications, printing systems, and network systems/li liMust have an intermediate understanding of server virtualization and shared storage technologies./li liMust be able to install, configure, upgrade, manage and troubleshoot various client-server applications./li liMust have acute attention to detail and follow-up skills./li liMust have an intermediate understanding of LAN/WAN Networking, Printing, Wifi and must be able to identify and resolve issues of the same./li liAbility to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly/li liIntermediate knowledge of remote access solution and support: VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix/li liUnderstanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services/li /ul This is a salaried position. Candidates must be available from 8am to 5pm on weekdays and should expect occasional additional hours on weekends.
