Tracking Code2580-015Job DescriptionSenior Systems Engineer - Low VoltageJob Tasks Responsibilities:•Develop cutting edge automotive systems including seating controls, remote keyless entry, passive entry passive start, and communication gateways.•Act as interface with Customer and the different project groups (hardware, software, and mechanical) for System Requirements and System Testing work-products•Analyze, clarify, specify, and confirm the key requirements of our products in the context of the complete vehicle system/sub-system, including relevant sensors, actuators, power supplies, loads, and networked ECUs.•Build the Product System Requirement Specification and the System Architectural Design•Allocate system requirements to other engineering disciplines (hardware, software, and mechanical)•Maintain and track system requirements in DOORS.•Support development of System Integration and System tests•Ensure two-way traceability of all system level work products•Perform impact analysis of product change requests from the customer•Support Safety team regarding the creation of the Technical Safety Concept and System Architecture AnalysisJob Requirements:•B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree•Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive systems engineering with working knowledge of software and hardware design•Able to work in a changing environment•Ability to travel if required•Self-motivated in bringing structure to unstructured tasks•Ability to organize and plan effectively•Must be a demonstrated team playerJob LocationSouthfield, Michigan, United StatesPosition TypeFull-Time/RegularAuthorization NumberN/AWe are an equal opportunity employer with a commitment to diversity.
