TEKsystems IT Audit Manager in Southfield, Michigan


The purpose of the IT Audit Manager is to collaborate closely with partners in security, governance, compliance, IT operations, and the business to design and execute risk assessments that identify, analyze, and communicate the inherent and residual risk associated with delivery engagements and the overall technology environment. One of the biggest areas of focus will be on transformation to the cloud and the risks associated with moving many of their home-grown systems to the cloud. Communication will be key, being able to break down technology information to both HR and the Business along with being a self-starter who cares share work they’ve overseen in past roles.


IT Audit, GRC, Governance Risk and Compliance, risk assessment, Risk Management Framework, CISA, CRISC, CISSP

Top Skills Details:

1.) 2+ years leading an IT audit function (would like someone already at a Manager or above level within their organization)

2.) 5+ years’ progressive experience in IT Audits outside of just SOX. They will be responsible for conducting risk assessments of our current IT environment and building out a NEW audit plan, gaining buy-in from the business, and executing the audit plan BEFORE a staff will be added for support

3.) 5+ years of experience working with Security Controls for networks, OS, distributed, and mainframe environments (looking for candidates with a technical IT background)
