Advantasure Expert Analyst in Southfield, Michigan

SUMMARY: The Expert Analyst is responsible for identifying, collecting, analyzing, and maintaining data to evaluate issues that support prospective business decisions. This role also coordinates projects for senior management. RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS: li Develop documentation, reports and presentations for all levels within organization /li li Lead and deliver complex divisional projects /li li Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to implement processes and develop supporting documentation /li li Research, analyze, and evaluate data from assigned problems to identify existing and potential trends and issues /li li Recommends and implements corrective solutions to identified problems /li li Possesses and maintains a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of operational business processes, products, and programs corporate organizational structure (including functional responsibilities) /li li Assists in the management and monitoring of multiple projects simultaneously by establishing project plans status reporting, risk and issue identification and resolution /li li Assists in the development of continuous improvement of operational processes /li li Communicates results of analysis to management via reportsresentations and assist management in implementing programs that provide solutions /li li Provides expertise and guidance to unit and corporate staff as required /li li Represents and participates in group or committee discussions /li /ul This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Health Care, Information Systems, Statistics or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Relevant combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Continuous learning, as defined by the Company's learning philosophy, is required. Certification or progress toward certification is highly preferred and encouraged. EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years of experience in a related field required to provide the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities for the role. SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES (SKA) REQUIRED: li Strong knowledge of project management methodology and processes /li li Experience using project management tools such as SmartSheets or MS Project /li li Strong analytical, organizational, planning, and problem solving skills /li li Ability to speak effectively among peers, leadership and clients /li li Ability to effectively collaborate with employees at all levels /li li Strong communication skills to understand, interpret, and communicate ideas /li li Ability to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives /li li Strong knowledge and use of software packages (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Visio) /li li Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this
