Tenneco is seeking a driven, self-motivatedData Analytics and/or Computer Sciencefocused student who has an interest in gaining hands-on experience working at our fast paced corporate facility located inSouthfield, MIsupporting our Marketing team.

Possible responsibilities include:

  • Analyze data to better build customer relationships

  • Use data to profile customers and develop market outreach

  • Clean & duplicate data

  • Identify areas for improvement within data analytics process

  • Other related projects to support team as assigned

Required Skills

Required of an Intern:

Must be able to work independently and in a team based environmentExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsExcellent problem solving and analytical skillsEffective time management skillsProficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Required Experience

Minimum Qualifications:Student currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institutionStudent with a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higherAbility to work at least 40 hours per week during the summer internship periodAbility to provide own transportation to/from the job siteLegally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:Student currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's in Data Analytics, Data Architecture, Marketing, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Engineering or Computer Engineering, from an accredited institutionStudent with a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
