Tracking Code2872-015Job DescriptionSummaryThe AP Project Manager is responsible for supporting major AP process transformation projects and business process improvement analysis to help standardize and reduce costs.Responsibilities•Define and Manage Project Plans, Tasks, Schedules, Scope, Timelines and Deliverables•Management of change, risks and issues for projects•Provide updates and reports on project progress and resolution of issues•Manage project budget, and resources as required•Assist in the design, development, User Acceptance Testing, migration and post go live support phases of AP projects (i.e. current Coupa/Basware project)•Standardize AP processes across business units to maximize efficiencies and drive processing costs down•Facilitate requirement sessions with process owners to identify and document business requirements and prepare functional design documents•Proficient with documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, support documentation, user guides, workflow processes and test cases•Work collaboratively with cross-functional and project teams within Finance and IT organizations•Assist in the training and orientation of other team members and functional end users•Presenting project status to all levels including executive managementRequired Education•Required at least Bachelor's degree, master is a plus.•Project management courses, PMP certification is a plusRequired Experience•Possess deep understanding of the end to end processes from an AP functional perspective•5+ years of strong functional experience in invoice processing systems (Basware, etc.)•5+ years of strong functional experience in PeopleSoft Financials•Strong experience in PeopleSoft Accounts Payables and Cash Management modules•Experience with SDLC and at least one or two project management methodologies•Strong functional experience working with customizations in PeopleSoft Financial Applications•Strong analytical and problem solving skills•Demonstrated ability to recognize process improvement opportunities, apply project management quality optimization tools to drive improvements, identify address related employee training needs•Process mapping, analysis, and improvement document writingRequired Attributes•Detailed Oriented - Pays attention to the details and can make a conscious effort to understand causes instead of just the effects, and that does this in a second nature type of way.•Solution Oriented - Develops creative, workable solutions to complex issues.
