HII-Camber is currently seeking a qualified person to fill the role of Knowledge & Information Management at Shaw AFB, SC . This position is contingent upon contract award.

The following statements of duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. These statements are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities required of all personnel within this position. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute knowledge and information management activities IAW USAFCENT Knowledge Management Plan.

  • Develop and support USAFCENT SharePoint sites at the direction of the Chief of Staff on NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and JWICS domains.

  • Provide training to the staff on SharePoint administration and coordinate for appropriate access to USAFCENT SharePoint sites.

  • Maintain document libraries and archives of key USAFCENT information on SharePoint.

  • Provide Knowledge and Information Management support to the staff directorates at the direction of the Chief of Staff. This includes creating SharePoint sites, training Directorate personnel, and coordinating for applicable access to Directorate information.

  • Create and manage deliberate information flows throughout the staff. This includes email distribution lists, consolidated SharePoint dashboards, and TMT workflows.

  • Serve as TMT augmentee for the USAFCENT staff; capable of creating, routing, answering, and troubleshooting all tasks on the TMT at the directorate level.

  • Oversee updates to the USAFCENT Knowledge Management Plan. This includes drafting, incorporating inputs, and editing the document on behalf of the Chief of Staff.

  • Teach Knowledge Management principles to USAFCENT staff.

  • Develop and support USAFCENT staff business rules and AFFOR Staff Officer Handbook. Conduct routine inputs at direction of the Chief of Staff.

  • Develop multi-platform, multi-public message dissemination plans as directed by the Chief of Staff.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications/e-mail systems or the equivalent.

  • Minimum of two years’ experience working with Microsoft SharePoint application and managing military sites.

  • Minimum of three years’ experience working with tasker management system at a component staff or higher.

  • Minimum of three years’ experience on a NAF or component command staff or higher level.

  • Possess and maintain a DoD 8570 IAT Level 1certification

  • ITIL Certification desirable

  • Possess a U.S. passport

  • Candidate must possess TS/SCI Clearance

  • All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening per HII requirements.
