Robert Half International Sr. Financial Analyst w/Implementation Experience in ROSEVILLE, Michigan


Our Oakland County automotive manufacturing client is in need of a Senior Financial Analyst for their ERP implementation. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that the data in the existing system is properly prepared to be pushed to the new system. The Senior Financial Analyst will also be responsible ensuring that the data in the new system accounts a properly aligned, including flow to various reports and financial statements.


  • Build advantageous relationships with integral business partners and Finance/Accounting leadership

  • Identify and execute financial analysis to optimize business performance post implementation

  • Develop repeatable business, operational and financial processes widely understood by all necessary teams

  • Liaise between multiple departments and business units to resolve implementation issues and ensure all data is accurately represented on outgoing reports and documents

  • Assist in other ad-hoc analysis and presentation requests


The ideal Senior Financial Analyst must have 5+ years experience as a Senior Financial Analyst in an automotive manufacturing environment. In addition, the ideal candidate must have prior large ERP implementation experience in an ERP like SAP, QAD or Plex. The ideal candidate should also have analysis and reporting experience in an automotive manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate must have advanced Excel skills with pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, etc. This is a potential consult-to-hire opportunity for the right candidate.

  • Ability to simplify complex problems and build solutions

  • Prior experience with process reengineering and optimization

  • Able to think critically and operate effectively with management

  • 10+ years experience in operations finance necessary

  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Business or related field

  • Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired

  • Skilled in working cross functionally across teams and gaining favor of key decision makers

  • A background in office systems, reporting software, databases and other BI tools recommended

  • CPA or MBA preferred

  • Plex Manufacturing ERP experience required

  • Account analysis experience

  • Demonstrated knowledge of QAD

  • Account analysis experience preferred

  • Financial statement preparation experience highly desired

  • Adeptness in Software Implementations

  • Microsoft Excel experience

  • High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint
