In this role, you will support the Sales / Program Managers in maximizing sales and profitability within assigned accounts, while also providing assistance with account management, new/replacement quote activities, and internal reporting. Our top candidate will have at least four years of related experience in automotive or heavy duty markets.Our recruiting team is ready to act immediately. We pride ourselves on moving through the process quickly, and you can be sure of transparency and prompt communication.ESSENTIAL DUTIESulliInvestigate and analyze root cause, and possible solutions for account issues that arise in day-to-day activities. Communicate with Sales/Program managers and other internal personnel to work through solutions./liliSupport Sales/Program Management in cost gathering and analysis activities related to customer cost breakdowns for productionrototypes and tooling costs./liliTrack program profitability by part number with SAP standard cost analyses./liliSupport Sales Managers in development of the AOP (Annual Operating Plan), SBP (Strategic Business Plan) and BoB (Book of Business)./liliDetermine root cause issue and drive resolution of customer purchase order discrepancies and past due account receivable issues (to include direct customer contact)./liliInvolvement in TVM (Total Value Management) and VA/VE (Value Engineering / Value Analysis) activities./liliTravel to manufacturing facilities, supplier and customer locations as required./liliAssist in improving and executing of key business processes./liliMonitor Tenneco's performance through data/report analysis emphasizing continuous improvement to meet or exceed customer expectations./liliProvide commercial input to assist in development of CAR's (Capital Appropriation Requests)./liliAdhere to internal reporting requirements customer deadlines./liliAssist in presentation development (i.e. slide creation, data gathering, proofing presentations, etc)./li/ulREQUIREMENTS:QUALIFICATIONSulliBachelor's degree from a four year college or university./liliMinimum 4 years related experience./liliAutomotive or heavy duty market experience is highly preferred. /li/ulEqual Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled/div
