Stryker Supply Chain Analyst in Portage, Michigan

What you will do-

You will be a part of our Corporate Indirect Procurement function and will be focused on supporting the business in the efficient and effective procurement of indirect goods and services.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Review requisitions in the system (Coupa) and ensure that they are complete and aligned to any category sourcing strategies

  • Issue purchase orders to suppliers in a timely manner and troubleshoot any process problems

  • Approve new suppliers & minimize purchasing/administrative burden on the requester

  • Work with the Sourcing team and recommend suppliers to be brought under contract or onto catalog

  • Assist in resolving invoices that have failed tolerance checks

  • Help to maintain system content and buying instructions

  • Identify/drive process improvement opportunities, and support ad-hoc projects as required

  • Ensure clear communication between stakeholders

  • Deliver commitments on time and as needed

What you need-

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Supply Chain or related field highly preferred)

  • Experience in procure to pay processes, indirect or direct purchasing and/or production planning experience -highly preferred

Ideal candidates will also possess the following:

  • Must have excellent interpersonal and analytical skills

  • Must have strong planning and organizational skills

  • Strong capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong project management capability

  • MRP proficiency, purchasing system/procedures experience, supplier management

Work From Home: Occasional

Travel Percentage: 10%
