McLaren Health Care 340B Analyst in Pontiac, Michigan
Develops and maintains policies and standard operating procedures for the 340B Drug Pricing Program. Maintains database to reflect changes in drug formularies, assures system integrity, analyzes purchasing data, and monitors ordering processes and documentation related to pharmacy supply chain compliance with state and federal regulations.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Develops systems and processes to limit program liabilities and provides proper audits to identify risk and prevent duplicate discounts and diversion.
Maintains HRSA/OPA audit readiness at all times.
Technical support for split-billing software users at hospital and in-house pharmacy.
Identifies observed WAC purchases in excess of expected, determines causes, and resolutions.
Monitors purchasing patterns of contract pharmacies and analyzes for potential compliance-related issues.
Recommends refinements of accounting or contractual agreements with contract pharmacies.
High School diploma or equivalent and 5 years ofpharmacy buying experience OR Associates degree in business/management, healthcare or related field and 3 years of pharmacy buying experience
Licensed and certified pharmacy technician
1 year previous 340 B Program knowledge orpharmacy contract price management with financial oversight
