Job Description

The Software Project Manager will lead the development of software and functions embedded in a central compute platform to support multiple levels of automation.

The functionality includes: Adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking (AEB), highway assist, traffic jam pilot among many others.

  • Ability to work with the engineering development team globally

  • Ensure system and software development, validation, and delivery according to guidelines and processes (e.g. ISO26262, ASPICE).

  • First point of contact for the software development to the customer and internal engineering team(s)

  • Reporting of project status



  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline

  • 3+ years of SW development experience in automotive customer projects, hands-on type of experience

  • 2+ years of experience in leading an automotive project.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with vehicle and system test and release procedures in automotive or related industry

  • Experience in systems / requirements engineering

  • Good written / verbal communication and presentation skills to discuss issues / solutions with team and external customer

  • Able to structure, moderate and promote collaboration with international teams

  • Able to negotiate with the customer and support a global, multi-cultural organization

  • Strong software engineering exposure/experience (C/C++).

  • Hands on experience with Agile development methods (SCRUM, Kanban, Lean, etc.)

  • Strong analytical and communication skills to discuss issues/challenges with internal global development teams and external customers
