The Software Project Manager will lead the development of software and functions embedded in a central compute platform to support multiple levels of automation.
The functionality includes: Adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking (AEB), highway assist, traffic jam pilot among many others.
Ability to work with the engineering development team globally
Ensure system and software development, validation, and delivery according to guidelines and processes (e.g. ISO26262, ASPICE).
First point of contact for the software development to the customer and internal engineering team(s)
Reporting of project status
Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline
3+ years of SW development experience in automotive customer projects, hands-on type of experience
2+ years of experience in leading an automotive project.
Experience with vehicle and system test and release procedures in automotive or related industry
Experience in systems / requirements engineering
Good written / verbal communication and presentation skills to discuss issues / solutions with team and external customer
Able to structure, moderate and promote collaboration with international teams
Able to negotiate with the customer and support a global, multi-cultural organization
Strong software engineering exposure/experience (C/C++).
Hands on experience with Agile development methods (SCRUM, Kanban, Lean, etc.)
Strong analytical and communication skills to discuss issues/challenges with internal global development teams and external customers
