Aerotek Application/Calibration Engineer in Plymouth, Michigan
The Application Calibration Engineer will support the following: Sensor installation requirements -Support and evaluation of EBU design specification (height, angles, distances, funnel geometry, etc) -Initiate/Support FOV simulations in case of difficult sensor positioning -Issue release recommendation for EBU •FoV requirements (shape, range, zones, close distance, etc) •USS echo and object detection & filtering requirements Performance requirements & performance parameters •Vehicle requirements (dimensions and shape, wheel size, license plates, tow bar, attached objects, etc.) •Measurement and calibration interface requirements •Vehicle Test and Validation requirements •Prior to project start-Support in cross-checking and review of system and performance relevant OEM requirements. Identifying and communicate/document deviations, provide specific know-how in technical discussions and application issues. Additional support in effort estimation for KVTs only for EPM4 relevant items. •Support any requirements discussions and workshops •Participate in reviews for requirements •Maintain a good information exchange with Sys/SW-Team • Requirements Tasks: Support Systems engineering and calibration of an embedded controls system. Will support and evaluate EBU design specification (height, angles, distances, funnel geometry, etc.) Calibrate interface requirements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Qualifications Bachelor of Science in an Engineering Discipline or foreign equivalent degree • 1+ years experience in systems engineering and/or calibration of an embedded controls system. • 1+ years experience with the calibration tools used for embedded software/embedded controls systems. • Required Skills: 3-5 years experience systems engineering / calibration of an embedded controls system on a vehicle platform. • Knowledge of vehicle networks (CAN/LIN) • Ability to understand embedded software (C and assembly) • Ability to understand schematics and mechanical drawings • Working experience using Vector CANape for embedded system calibration
