Job Duties:

Lead a large team of Application Engineers, based in North America that supports sales efforts and leads product implementations at major accounts for cable and harness solutions within Mentor Siemens IESD product line.

Organize and develop the existing team of Application Engineers into a center of technical excellence for the IESD product suite. Manage deployment, operations, performance management, recruiting, and training. Enhance team capabilities and implement a deployment model that maximizes commercial impact. Develop a reputation for domain expertise and professional delivery. Contribute to long-term product strategy, commercial plans, and industry thought leadership.

Support the sales of IESD products and related services to accounts in the transportation industry. Partner with the local account executives and IESD sales leaders to drive long term sales strategies for target accounts, including support of pre-sales activities and proof-of-concept deployments.

Lead customer implementations with major accounts. Develop and maintain relationships with implementation partners who will lead multi-product, enterprise-wide deployments of cable and harness solutions.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent required; technical degree preferred; active with relevant industry associations; able to travel; at least 10 years in technical sales or solution implementation roles in a relevant industry; automotive OEM and/or Tier 1 experience strongly preferred.

Ideal candidate will have:

(1) experience selling complex enterprise technology solutions into large global companies; (2) experience leading large scale software implementations across multiple departments or companies; (3) credible knowledge of the transportation industry across the entire ecosystem, including OEMs, Tier 1’s, and other partners; and, (4) demonstrated success leading dispersed technical teams.
