You will be engaged, challenged and inspired by our team to deliver leading thermal technologies that positively impact lives around the world.Senior Software Controls Engineer IMPACT and OPPORTUNITYThe Senior Controls Engineer will lead all aspects of model-based controls software development for one or more ClimateSense products. This person will be the key technical interface for project stakeholders, responsible for design, development and verification of the complete vehicle climate system control software. The selected candidate will also manage customer projects and lead algorithm innovation.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESand#8226;Design and development of embedded model-based controls software.and#8226;Problem identification and resolution.and#8226;Definition, tracking, reporting, execution of detailed software development plans.and#8226;Invention of new controls solutions.and#8226;Technical interface to key project stakeholders including customer engineering, program management, hardware, mechanical, electrical and manufacturing teams.and#8226;Apply best practice software development process and technical solutions.and#8226;Ensure on time delivery of the product.and#8226;Ensure software quality through design documentation, review, and test.and#8226;Mentor junior team members to develop skills and process adherence.QUALIFICATIONSMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:and#8226;Master's degree in Embedded Systems, Controls, Software, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.and#8226;5 years' experience in the development of embedded real time software.and#8226;Demonstrated success in the development of automotive systems.and#8226;2 years' experience in model-based software development using Simulink.and#8226;Strong communication skills.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:and#8226;Experience with control system development including closed loop tuning.and#8226;Lead role in new product development, vehicle integration or systems development.and#8226;Experience with development of physical plant models.and#8226;Experience with simulation of HVAC or thermal systems using GT Power, SimScape.and#8226;Relevant experience with climate systems calibration, software or controls.and#8226;Use of Rapid prototype software development tool chains and build tools.and#8226;Design/development of automotive electronics.and#8226;Experience with development of MISRA C embedded real-time software.and#8226;Experience with debuggers, emulators, compilers, static and dynamic test tools.and#8226;Experience with automotive process standards (ASPICE, CMMI, ISO-26262).and#8226;Experience with requirements decomposition and traceability using DOORS.and#8226;Experience with Vector tools (CANalyzer, CANoe, etc.).and#8226;Experience with automotive communications protocols (CAN, LIN).and#8226;Familiar with conformance test standards for LIN/CAN networks.and#8226;Experienced with abstracted software architectures.NICE TO KOWTRAVEL: 5% local travelCOMPETENCIESand#8226;Deliver Resultsand#8226;Understand the mission and output of your team; set SMART objectives and deliverand#8226;Drive Changeand#8226;Focus on agility and commitment to continuous i
