Our facilities include Port City Castings Corp., Muskegon Castings Corp., Port City Metal Products, Port City Die Cast, Port City Custom Plastics, Alloy Resource Corp, and Mirror Image Tool.Production Systems AnalystJob Duties•Update Odyssey with new products and routings when launched at each facility.•Monitor ECN and RFC notifications for further changes in Odyssey on existing programs.•Maintain new equipment and P.M. schedules in Odyssey.•Create and update work instructions as they relate to Odyssey based operating procedures.•Review weekly cycle counts done at each facility and work with cycle count teams to problem solve issues as they arise.•Make system changes based on cycle count monitoring to help correct open issues.•Organization of inventory (products, components, and packaging) and labeling as needed.•Organize annual physical inventory events at each facility.•Projects surrounding overall business improvement (inventory, trucking, scheduling, etc.)•Assist associates via email or in person as problems arise with system access, reports, shipment paperwork, labels, etc.•Monitor components and packaging ordering for all plants to adhere to best practice.•Review all packaging requisitions as they are placed for inventory control.•Basic report writing to assist managers/supervisors.Knowledge/Skill Required:•Practical knowledge of manufacturing processes and data integrity controls•Previous experience in ERP implementation, administration, and support•Analytical thinker with experience in report/query writing in a relational database environment•Understanding and experience with inventory managementroduction schedulingroduction systems•Excellent Excel and MS Office skills•Ability to work independently and in a teamSolid time management skills and able to prioritizePlease note that the duties and requirements described herein are intended to represent general contents of this job.
