Our headquarters is in Omaha, Nebraska. This position can be remote with quarterly trips to Omaha. Must be US based.

Role Description:

Responsible for implementing, administering, monitoring and troubleshooting cloud and datacenter infrastructure systems. Ability to demonstrate expertise in AWS and datacenter architecture, performance optimization, security best practices and continuous maintenance practices for critical systems. Ability to work closely with other team members, software & hardware vendors and end-users to collaboratively design technical solutions that meet the business needs. Serve as a lead technical resource regarding the implementation and optimization of complex server-based configurations by providing expertise in various infrastructure platforms that include: SAN\storage management, virtualization architecture, disaster recovery systems architecture, patch management and backup and recovery,

Duties and Responsibilities:

Act as Team lead in driving projects and provides tier 3 support in resolving complex technical issues Contribute to the development of a technical roadmap for the AWS Cloud, Windows, Linux and VMware environments Perform daily tasks to monitor, maintain, and backup all enterprise Windows, Linux, SQL, and DB2 Database servers. Plan, Build, Implement and maintain the AWS Cloud, Windows, VMware server infrastructure to include supporting an on-call rotation Deliver cost effective solutions, ensuring customer functionality while maintaining system performance and stability. Analyze system performance and suggest/implement tuning as needed Patch Windows, ESX, VMware server environments, both software and firmware, on scheduled basis as well as urgent security releases Document and improve upon processes, procedures, and implement best practices to align with industry standards and customer needs Work with vendor(s) to stay abreast of changing trends in technology and build component level designs for new IT solutions Work with infrastructure teams to include Windows, VMware, Linux, Sysops, Database and InfoSec Exhibit professional behavior at all times, work and promote we are “One Team” across the organization, making every interaction Helpful, Easy and Personal.

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in a relevant field (or equivalent work experience)

Very high degree of initiative, strong work-ethic, creativity, motivation, and accountability

7+ years experience with Windows Server technologies to include AWS Cloud, Exchange, Active Directory, DHCP administration with in-depth, hands-on experience in an enterprise class server environment

5 years experience with server level virtualization technologies (VMware ESX or MS Hyper-V)

Experience building and deploying enterprise level IT solutions using HP or Cisco UCS Enterprise class server hardware

Strong oral and written communication skills An understanding of scalable and highly available architectures

Additional Qualifications a Plus:

Basic understanding of Linux (Redhat , SUSE or SLES)

MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert)
