Position Overview

As the MFG Strategy intern in Autodesk Education Experiences (AEX), you will join one of the teams who are driving awareness, adoption, and affinity for Autodesk within our most important customer segments: the next generation of designers, builder, engineers and doers. Autodesk software is used daily by millions of students and educators all over the world. You will work on meaningful projects, solving some of our unique challenges, and will work closely with different groups within our Business Strategy & Marketing teams. You’ll apply your knowledge of strategy, marketing, analytics, packaging and go to market planning to further help get Autodesk’s technology with great focus on Fusion360 to students all over the world. The ideal candidate brings data and insight, thinks creatively, is naturally innovative, highly collaborative, and has a passion for enabling anyone, anywhere to make anything.

Responsibilities

  • Help conduct research projects for the Education Experiences Industry strategy team.

  • Gather and analyse data from internal sources to understand business performance and trends.

  • Research external sources (competitive data, industry trends, customer interviews, etc.) to build more effective business cases.

  • Assist strategy team in building optimal strategies and go to market plans.

  • Create executive-level presentations detailing research findings and recommended actions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • You must be enrolled as a full-time graduate or MBA student at an accredited program with at least one academic term to complete post internship to be eligible for internship participation. Preferably with a focus on Business, Marketing, Engineering, Management, Accounting or Finance.

  • Students must reside and attend university in the country where the internship is being offered.

  • A natural communicator. You should be able to communicate effectively to a wide variety of audiences including executive leadership.

  • Ability to work in a remote team environment and successfully build collaborative relationships.

  • Strong numerical, analytical and powerpoint skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in marketing, strategy consulting or investment banking.

  • Experience with the Manufacturing and/or Education industries.

  • Knowledge of Autodesk software in Design & Manufacturing.

About the US Intern Program

The U.S. program runs from May through August for 12 weeks and will be remote (subject to change). All internships are paid. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, work alongside peers from universities all over the country and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development. US recruiting begins in the Fall and concludes end of March.
