Job Description:

Position Overview

As a Competitive Analyst, you will execute in depth online research into a handful of our known competitors to understand recent changes in their strategic direction.

You will learn to use a variety of research tools (web, CrunchBase, Captera, Gartner, etc.) to gather data and facts, organize and summarize research information into clear, digestible executive briefings; select and apply a variety of strategic & competitive analysis frameworks (Porter, BCG matrix, Ansoff matrix etc.); formulate clear and effective strategic recommendations; translate strategy into applicable action plans; and present complex information in a simple and impactful way.


  • Understand drivers for new product launches, recent acquisitions, strategic hires, etc.

  • Scout the market for potential disruptive competitors, understand their strategies and make a threat/opportunity assessment

  • Create an overall summary of the competitive landscape with recommendations and action plan

Minimum Qualifications

  • Students must be at least 18 years of age

  • Student must be actively enrolled in a degree granting academic institution or accredited boot camp at the time of internship

  • Students must reside and attend university in the country where the internship is being offered

Preferred Qualifications

  • Digital/Display Advertising


  • Ability to use metrics to quantify success

  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a team environment and successfully build collaborative relationships

  • Knowledge of Autodesk software is a plus

About the US Intern Program

The U.S. program runs from May through August for 12 weeks and will be remote (subject to change). All internships are paid. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, work alongside peers from universities all over the country and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development. US recruiting begins in the Fall and concludes end of March.
