Job Title: Global Technical Architect - O365 Messaging and CollaborationLocation: Atlanta, GA or Miami, FL AreaAmcor is looking for a Global Technical Architect - O365 Messaging and Collaboration to join its global team based out of its Peachtree City, GA or Miramar, FL offices.Corporate IT and Global Business Services IT (GBS IT) at Amcor delivers efficient and reliable IT services to internal customers - Amcor Business Groups (BG's). Corporate IT also supports high impact cross- BG initiatives. Efforts are measured and benchmarked against best practices ensuring best-in class services to customers.The Global Technical Architecture Team is part of the IT Strategy Solution Enablement group, which is responsible for transformational activities and the design of new solutions for the Business and its customers. This group provides technical visibility of IT transformation and centrally manages technical designs to keep consistency across Amcor. Strong expert knowledge in one or more technical domains and a good oversight of the global infrastructure is required to assist the Operations teams in the resolution of issues.The vacant role will be part of the Global IT Architecture Team and will complement the team's expertise in the Messaging and Collaboration domain.Responsibilities:Your role will consist of but not be limited to the following tasks:Management of global IT standards and current IT landscape documentation•Increases internal transparency on current technology landscape and major transformations•Assesses key IT trends and technologies, their implications on Amcor's IT landscape and potential application in the Amcor context•Liaises with IT Security and Group Internal Audit to confirm security, reliability, integrity and robustness of solution design•Lead proof-of-concept projects to assess and build new capabilities in the infrastructure domain.Technical advisory across the IT community and Amcor BGs•Support business and IT teams in the selection and implementation of appropriate technical solutions which follow current Amcor standards or defined technology roadmap•Identify technology synergies across Amcor BGs•Promote shared infrastructure and applications to optimize IT spend and improve information flow•Translate business needs into information technology solutionsProject support•Defines and implements technical solutions which meet business needs•Acts as technical Subject Matter Expert to assure the quality of IT solutions in projects•Leads technical work streams from planning through to implementation•Ensures that projects do not duplicate functionality or diverge from each other•Supports major IT investment decisions (in projects)Operational escalation point•Last resort technical escalation point for major incidents•In critical situations, able to take the lead on identifying root cause and solution to the underlying problemKnowledge transfer and enablement of operational teams•Supports Operations teams in root cause analysis and issue resolution of major incidents•Actively works on resolution of complex issues•Conducts post-mortem technical review with regards to design of impacted infrastructure solutions•Ensures knowledge transfer into Operations teams to build employee knowledge and technical skills in specific areas of expertiseRequirements:•Minimum Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience/studies•A
