SMB Market Development Program Director

The solution manager is a senior, experienced global leader who applies industry knowledge to both contribute individually, and collaborate with global teams of business development and technical contributors (marketing, channel sales, Presales, Digital Channel) to accomplish the following:

  • Workswith DISW Industry Leaders and segments to identify and deliver highimpact joint SMB solutions

  • Supportdevelopment of relevant SMB personas, messaging, nurture & nudgestrategy

  • Leadthe definition and execution of high priority initiatives focused ondeveloping winning solutions for the SMB industry.

  • Leadingefforts to depict, document, and communicate key SMB growth challenges

  • Identifyand communicate unmet needs, with business value justification

  • Leadingefforts to depict, document, and communicate key SMB industry sub-segments

  • Helpidentify and drive pricing/packaging needs to create appropriate SMBpackages

  • Helpthe Digital transformation process with supporting the digital-web journeyfor SMB customers to learn-try-buy

  • Supportefforts for re-inventing the Partner economic model for Digital channel

  • Supportdevelopment of dashboards and report out for executive management

  • CommunicateSMB program updates globally

  • Responsiblefor matrix managing highly complex, global projects and influencing thedecisions of others and decisions impacting the success of the program.

  • Definesand drives program strategy, along with timeline and consistency. Isstrongly responsible for success of product/program in the marketplace.

  • Keyemployee responsible for driving the achievement of marketing programs,including product marketing, market research, internet related marketingand advertising.

  • Workswithout supervision and has complete latitude for decision making

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Provenstrong analytical, data-driven and problem-solving skills; a willingnessand ability to operate at both higher and more detailed levels as required

  • Experienceworking with SMB customers and Channel partners

  • Mustbe a flexible and creative individual capable of leading and managingmultiple priorities and projects in a fast paced, often ambiguous anddiverse environment

  • Strongleadership skills with proven ability to influence/negotiate and garnersupport for objectives; comfortable negotiating and driving timelydecisions

  • Experiencewith Mechanical CAD, Simulation, Factory Automation

  • Experiencewith channel organizations marketing and sales execution process

  • Abilityto understand customer needs and translate them to product requirements

  • Skilleddiplomat with high levels of professional confidence and business acumen

  • Demonstratedeffective written and oral communication skills with demonstratedexperience of successfully working across organizational lines and strongexecutive presentation skills

  • Workswell with ambiguity and can wear many hats

  • Excellentinterpersonal skills to build strong relationships

  • Musthave strong program/project management experience and several yearsrelated product/program related experience.
