We are currently seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our growing team!

About You

The person we are looking for is a self motivated marketing specialist that seeks to be a key player in delivering top notching marketing support. You're an energetic, problem solver that enjoys a variety of tasks while building a niche/area of expertise. You are an expert with marketing writing and have experience with b2b marketing tactics, with a track record of making meaningful contributions and ownership over past marketing responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with US Ecology's Marketing Team on a variety of creative and strategic marketing initiatives.

  • Support various marketing programs and tactics including email campaigns, search engine programs, trade shows/event production, collateral and content development, and ad creative and messaging.

  • Support proposal development process with various tasks, including completion of required documentation and preparing supplemental material from a library of resources that provide an advantage in the competitive bidding arena (company information, resources and capabilities; relevant project experience and case studies; project team qualifications and resumes; organization charts and bios, etc.).

  • Work with Marketing Team to develop high-quality professional presentations to effectively communicate information to various audiences, both internal (marketing plans, rollout of initiatives, training, strategic plans, etc.) and external (various sales decks).

  • Work with sales and operations personnel to develop new case studies and other collateral, organize and maintain files to aid future efforts and enable others to easily access and obtain as needed.

  • Assist the Marketing Team with review and editing of copy and sales collateral to ensure all material complies with corporate brand guidelines and is representative of US Ecology's standards for excellence.

  • Develop an understanding of US Ecology's business and become knowledgeable of the various services performed across operating regions.

  • Maintain database of content pertaining to company qualifications and marketing material to ensure all information is accurate and current.

  • Assist in the development and execution of go-to-market plans for strategic lines of business. Tasks may involve assisting with market with research and analysis, writing, presentation of information, etc.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field and a minimum of 3 years professional experience in related disciplines

  • Experience with marketing and/or communications strongly preferred. Must be able to demonstrate strengths in copywriting across a variety of applications. Additional preference for experience/skills in B2B marketing (trade shows, ad campaigns), digital marketing experience (social media, SEO), managing and executing customer outreach (email campaigns) and market research.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. Ideal candidate has acute attention to detail and strong editing capabilities.

  • Ideal candidate will be a team player, have pride in their work and demonstrate such with high quality work product. Must have ability to coordinate efforts with team members and successfully complete projects with various groups.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills is vital. Must be able manage and coordinate multiple concurrent projects and initiatives, both independently and when working with various teams.

  • Industry knowledge preferred, or demonstrated interest with strong cognitive ability and drive to learn.

  • Experience with proposal development, contracts, bonding/insurance, and CRM systems desired.

  • Excellent customer relations skills are required; must have the ability to deal effectively and tactfully with a wide variety of individuals in person, via telephone and in writing.

  • Must have strong work ethic. Ideal candidate can demonstrate drive to learn/expand skills and grow within the company, take initiative to make improvements to material and/or processes when opportunity avails, etc.

  • This is a deadline-driven position; work hours may be extended at times.

  • Graphic design experience including skills in Adobe Creative Suite desired.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Adobe or Foxit PhantomPDF is required. CMS experience (Drupal, WordPress, Sitefinity, etc.) desired. Experience with CRM databases (Salesforce, Dynamics365) is desired.

Successful completion of a pre-employment background and substance screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) search as well continued verifications throughout employment to ensure that all records meet company policy standards.
