We are a team of teams, process and content experts, dedicated to building emA world where tomorrow is healthier than today!/emTitle: Survey Analyst$20.26 - $26.40 / Posted thru: 9-30-20Employee Name: TBDSupervisor: Unit Manager - Environmental Data AnalyticsPurpose: Provide support related to data system development, data management, and data analysis for health studies and exposure assessments carried out by the Toxicology and Assessment Section of the MDHHS Division of Environmental Health.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Data Systems, Management, and AnalysisulliAssist with the development of data systems, in particular survey instruments, to capture and evaluate program- and/or project-related measures./liliPerform standardized mathematical and spreadsheet computations to identify and correct potential data- or system-related errors./liliPrepare data for use in qualitative, descriptive, or quantitative analyses; assist epidemiology and Data Unit staff in these endeavors./liliEnsure accurate and complete data-related documentation including (but not limited to): data dictionaries, codebooks, data entry protocols, data cleaning and verification processes, and data analysis techniques./li/ulMDHHS Biomonitoring Surveillance, Exposure Assessments, and Health Studies ulliServe as a member of Biomonitoring Surveillance, Health Study and Exposure Assessment teams./liliAssist with the development of instruments and sample tracking documents./liliAssist with quality control processes, including survey programming reviews, document and data review, and data summarization./li/ulProject SupportulliParticipate and take detailed notes at division, section, unit, and project meetings, as directed./liliAssist with the drafting of data management plans/liliAssist with data management activities, including (but not limited to): performing data cleaning, and monitoring incoming data for gaps and/or logical errors./li/ulOtherulliMaintain a high level of professionalism and integrity; treat program and project information as confidential./liliMaintain a positive, strong, credible, professional and interpersonal relationship with all parties relevant of MDHHS projects./liliRepresent the best interest of MDHHS at all times./li/ulQUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTSEducation: Possession of a bachelor's degree required.Experience: A minimum of three years related experience in data system development and management, performing data analysis, and providing administrative support.
