Liquid Web Manager, Marketing & Web Operations in Lansing, Michigan
The Manager, Marketing & Web Operations is responsible for effectively managing day-to-day operations of nexcess.net and associated digital properties. This strategic leader will partner with dev resources and stakeholders to optimize this critical digital channel with key goals of driving brand awareness, qualified leads, conversion rate optimization and transaction (revenue) growth for the business. This position is a remote, work from home opening.
As a Manager, Marketing & Web Operations your responsibilities would include:
Ongoing review and enhancement of website through content management and design; ensuring accuracy, consistency and alignment with overall business and marketing strategies, while adhering to ADA and security requirements.
Maintaining a deep understanding of website experiences and identify unique opportunities to leverage content, creative, and technology to drive or influence conversion rate.
Providing direction on website content and design to various stakeholders to ensure alignment with the overall digital strategy; which includes coordinating/publishing content, while ensuring continuity of themes and design layout.
Recommend and implement new capabilities to improve site speed, compliance, SEO, user experience (UX), and conversion rate optimization (CRO)
Streamlining navigation and overall information architecture in order to improve the online experience for users
Leveraging analytics, market research, and usability testing to create and continuously enhance ongoing content/design strategy
Planning, executing, monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on website performance and initiatives with a sharp focus on driving inbound organic leads & conversions
Proactively identifying, prioritizing, and driving opportunities for ongoing process improvement
Responding to and troubleshooting website issues quickly
Working with internal ops teams & others to understand website performance including impressions, visitors, sessions, leads, downloads and conversion rates, providing actionable insights for continuous improvements
Identifying reporting & analytics gaps. Maintaining change management logs and pre-post change assessments
Scoping, prioritizing, and executing website content updates and overall site roadmaps while effectively managing timelines and stakeholders
Partnering with external agencies to manage SEO strategies and content optimizations, including implementing best practices to drive traffic and conversions
Keeping up-to-date with industry best practices and monitor competitor websites
Ensuring full compliance on the website with all laws and regulations
6+ years of website management experience
Proven ability to think and work strategically, while also driving rapid execution
Excellent organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to quickly understand complex issues and generate innovative solutions to solve for them
Comfort in collaborating and communicating with peers and leadership across the company
The ability to thrive in a matrixed environment
Bachelor?s degree and/or equivalent work experience
The ability to support and enforce a content strategy based on requirements
Advanced knowledge of WordPress
Thorough understanding of User Experience and Information Architecture
The ability to leverage analytics, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), market research and usability testing to create and continuously enhance web content and design strategy
Strong written and oral communication skills with an ability to present to stakeholders with confidence
The ability to demonstrate strong project management and leadership capabilities while demonstrating a strong sense of urgency
Ability to work with multiple people under competing deadlines and can change direction quickly, while maintaining excellent communication and attention to detail necessary for project success
The ability to work within corporate environments/cultures with numerous stakeholders (including all levels of management, Legal, Information Security, Privacy, and Information Technology)
The ability to contribute to, communicate and enforce the Web Standards of our digital assets, including but not limited to Style Guides, Accessibility requirements, UX and established Design standards
