What does a great ETL Developer do at Fiserv?
Under general supervision you will perform business intelligence solution design and development to produce required ETL mappings, and analytics work. You will work in an Agile environment on a talented business intelligence team, delivering software solutions utilized by internal and external customers. You should have a passion for development, as well as data analysis, and possess strong development skills in Informatica. As a software developer, you will be responsible for developing, unit testing, and integration tasks, while maintaining development and quality standards. This position will require close collaboration with your delivery team, product owners and managers, and the QA team.
What are some of the essential job responsibilities for this role?
Design, document, implement, and maintain moderately complex Informatica mappings and information.
Conduct unit & integration testing and peer reviews of work.
Perform moderately complex troubleshooting and resolution activities.
Research and develop solutions to problems discovered by QA or product support.
Research and understand the marketing requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria, and competitive issues.
Research new technology and development tools to remain informed of current technology and standard methodologies.

What are the required and preferred qualifications needed for this position?
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field / equivalent experience required
Minimum of 3 or more years of recent/current Informatica experience mapping development, workflow performance research and improvement required
Good communication and ability to successfully & collaboratively work with both technical and non-technical staff
Recent experience with development process; including requirements, design, construction, testing and implementation required
Knowledge of coding principles; including testing, code review, quality control, code promotion and versioning preferred
Good understanding of data warehouse design, including relational and dimensional modeling preferred
Overall conceptual and technical skills will be used routinely
Having analytical and design skills at multiple product levels will be helpful
Experience in research and analysis, project planning and implementation a plus
Familiarity with PCs and various software applications.
