Accident Funds Director, Data Services in Lansing, Michigan

EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. Combinations of relevant education, certifications, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Continuous learning, as defined by the Company's learning philosophy, is required. Certification or progress toward certification is highly preferred and encouraged.EXPERIENCE:Ten years' experience in an information technology environment with demonstrated technical experience and progressive responsibility that provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities. Three to five years leadership experience in information technology required. Proven track record of driving results and desired outcomes required. Ability to lead teams and work with stakeholders effectively a must. Previous insurance or workers' compensation experience preferred. Bilingual skills preferred.SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES (SKA) REQUIRED: * Ability to translate business goals into IT demand. * Deep understanding of project management capabilities, finance management processes and resource management and scheduling processes * Experience leading and transforming organizations to leverage Agile (SAFe, scrum and Kanban) * Deep understanding of the IT landscape with respect to applications, integrations, risk management, infrastructure, cloud and data security. * Ability to implement appropriate enterprise data warehousing and business intelligence architecture. * Ability to understand business needs and implement solutions that support those business strategies. * Ability to establish rapport and maintain customer satisfaction without compromising priorities. * Demonstrated ability to work with (and understand the rank of) enterprise executives, senior management and external contacts, with ability to determine the key business issues and develop appropriate action plans from multidisciplinary perspectives. * Must possess strong analytical, time management and organizational skills. * Strong negotiation skills to influence key stakeholders. * Must demonstrate leadership ability and team building skills to effectively supervise professional and non-professional staff and interact with all levels of management. * Ability to effectively exchange information, in verbal or written form, by sharing ideas, reporting facts and other information, responding to questions and employing active listening techniques. * Ability to establish workflows, manages multiple projects, and meet necessary deadlines.
