State of Michigan Departmental Analyst 9-P11 - Strategy Analyst (Education) in Lansing, Michigan
The Strategy Division is responsible for setting the direction of the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency (MVAA) and coordinating activities between MVAA and other Departments/ Agencies. Position functions as the recognized resource for MVAA for education matters affecting veterans. Operate as the recognized resource for MVAA on programs and policies affecting veterans’ education and education benefits. Develop strategies for veterans’ outreach and program coordination regarding education. Serve as a liaison between MVAA and other state departments/agencies regarding veterans education issues and coordinate the activities between these departments/agencies. Additionally, this position serves as a back-up to the Strategy Analyst focused on employment.

Required Education and Experience
Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
Departmental Analyst 9
No specific type or amount is required.
Departmental Analyst 10
One year of professional experience.
Departmental Analyst P11
Two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service.
