Your key responsibilities

Every day is a different challenge. You will provide assistance to multiple client engagement teams, work with a wide variety of clients to deliver professional services. Our objective is to provide our clients with a unique business perspective on how analytics can transform and improve their entire organization. In this role you will transform complex business problems into insightful visuals which can be quickly interpreted and actioned on.

Additional responsibilities:

• Work with internal stakeholders to define data product details based on needs

• Work with data engineers to translate basic business problem statements into analysis requirements

• Document systems/analytics solutions to the business, translating complex functionality into business relevant language

• Serve as subject matter expert on data and business process within area of focus

• Lead multiple bodies of work, interacting frequently with stakeholders

• Potentially help manage product backlog and act as a strategic partner

• Analyze existing data stores and interfaces to support current state and future data models

• Work with squads to create physical data designs and business rule implementation

• Partner with enterprise data management and strategy on business glossary implementation and governance and stewardship

• Work with report developers to align dataset design with report design

• Partner with information architecture to provide feedback on conceptual models and review logical and physical data models

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Information Technology, Computer Information Systems or a related field

• Intermediate to advanced SQL skills

• Experience with a big data platform (Hadoop, Snowflake, AWS, Hive, Teradata, Cognos, etc) required

• Experience working with data in one of the following categories: consumer, retail, supply chain, or digital commerce

• Strong ability to solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions

• Strong collaboration skills with a demonstrated ability of working well within a team

• Demonstrated ability to work well with internal and external customers

• A valid driver’s license in the US, willingness and ability to travel to meet client needs

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Working understanding of Agile methodologies and principles

• Basic data visualization skills (Tableau) a plus

• Experience as a product manager (for data products) a plus

• Knowledge of database structure principles

• Good understanding of data integration
